Meet Cindy – Your Hat Bar-Tender!
Cindy Benson is not just the mastermind behind Cowgirl Accessories Boutique—she’s your personal Hat Bar-Tender for the day! Cindy’s journey into custom burned hats started in September 2023 when she fell in love with the craft after buying her first burned hat. With a deep love for Western fashion and a lifetime immersed in the horse world, she knew this was something special. But beyond fashion, Cindy’s passion for hat burning is rooted in something even deeper—giving back. Inspired by her niece, who has Cerebral Palsy and experiences the magic of horseback riding through therapeutic programs, Cindy has made it a mission to support these initiatives through her business.
From hats that tell stories of love, loss, and adventure to custom creations that hold deep personal meaning, Cindy has crafted one-of-a-kind designs for everyone—from country music artists to heartfelt personal tributes.
Now, she’s bringing her expertise (and a whole lot of fun!) to Tres Rojas Winery in Washington, IL, for an afternoon of creativity, community, and of course, wine!

This is not your typical workshop—it’s a party! Come out to the beautiful Tres Rojas Winery in Washington, IL on April 5th 2025 to sip, socialize, and create a one-of-a-kind hat that tells YOUR story. Whether you're looking for a bold fashion statement or a deeply personal keepsake, this is your chance to bring your vision to life!
Here's how it works:
Step 1: Pick the perfect hat that fits your style and personality. You can customize a baseball hat or cowboy hat and there will be a variety of colors and styles to choose from!
Step 2: Choose your hat band! Select from a range of ribbons (at least 3-5 recommended) to create the perfect look.
Step 3: Personalize it even more with optional embellishments and accessories.
Step 4: Time to burn! Cindy will help you decide on custom designs, shading, and burned details—whether you want a name, a meaningful date, or a freehand masterpiece.
Step 5: Sit down with Cindy, watch the magic happen, and leave with a fully customized hat, designed just for you!

This event will be held from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and we will have groups of 6 kicking off every hour. Don't worry about filling up a full slot with your group—we will fill them as registrations come in. It will be a great way to meet new faces during your session as well!
Price: Cowboy Hats: $115 / Baseball Hats: $70
