What to Expect
We’ll dive into everything from facial nerves and pressure points to the different types of bridles, bits, reins, and bitless options. You’ll learn how to measure for the perfect fit, choose the right setup for your riding style, and troubleshoot common issues. Plus, we’ll show proper bridle techniques, bit placement, and ways to encourage relaxation before bridling.
We’ll have a variety of bits, hackamores, and bridles on hand for demonstrations, and a demo horse will help us illustrate key techniques. Don’t worry—we keep hands-on fittings to a minimum to ensure the horse’s comfort.
This is a great opportunity to expand your horsemanship knowledge and gain confidence in your equipment choices. Whether you ride with a bit or prefer bitless options, this workshop will give you the insights you need to make the best decision for you and your horse. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave with practical skills you can use right away!
